Overturned Vehicle

The vehicle appeared to have left the roadway due to the driver having a medical problem.  The vehicle traveled up a hill before hitting a clump of trees and then overturning.  The driver was not seriously injured, but was transported to the hospital to be checked out.  The firefighters & paramedics were able to free the victim from the vehicle after cutting the seatbelt straps.  Units from Troutman Fire & Rescue, Iredell County EMS, IMAP, and NC SHP responded to the scene.


The victim was in the vehicle hanging from the straps as witnesses watch.
