Rumple Hill Rd/Lippard Springs Circle
Single Vehicle Accident

The vehicle had run off the road and struck a culvert at a driveway.  The female driving appeared to be intoxicated and had tried to continue on even though the vehicle was stopped.  The left front tire and right rear were both shredded from continuing to spin.  The Troutman Police were also looking for this vehicle, as it had destroyed a sign in Troutman.  Units from Troutman Fire & Rescue, Troutman Police Dept., Iredell County EMS, and NC State Police were on scene.  The female was transported to the hospital to be checked out.

The driver was on the ground crying when units arrived.  She was carrying a snakeskin in a bag for some unknown reason.


EMS workers attempted to put her on a backboard, but she refused it.

Notice back tire had dug a hole - this tire was shredded.


State Patrol and Troutman PD officers meet as to who was charging driver with what charges.
