Overturned Vehicle

The small SUV left the road, hitting a stone/cinder block mailbox and then rolling into the corn field at the road edge.  The driver was able to free himself from the vehicle.  The vehicle was leaking gas and the fire unit was prepared if it caught fire.  The driver was transported to the hospital.  Units from Troutman Fire & Rescue, Iredell County EMS and NC State Patrol were on the scene.


Coming to the scene - Kia overturned at the edge of the corn field.

The ambulance was at approximately the location where the vehicle left the road. Pieces of the mailbox is strewn along side the roadway.
