House Fire
The call came in around 4:30am and the first unit on the scene advised a working fire. The firefighters had a hard time with the fire which was in the roof of the double wide modular home. The fire spread the length of the building. The resident was able to escape in his pajamas and was not hurt. Firefighters took about an hour to get the fire under control using both interior and exterior attacks. Units from Wayside, Troutman, Shepherds, and Cleveland fire departments responded as well as Mooresville Rescue, and Iredell County Air Van.
