Merriman Rd House Fire

This fire occurred on Saturday June 13, 2009 on Merriman Rd.
off 115 N of Statesville. Firefighters from Trinity, Monticello and Ebenezer
were dispatched and found a house with heavy fire showing from the 115 side of
the house. The occupant of the house was out of the house upon arrival and
firefighters worked both interior and exterior lines to control the fire.
Iredell Rescue and Trinity
ladies auxiliary provided rehab as the temp was in the high 80's. No injuries
occurred and the Red Cross worked with the occupant for temporary housing. Fire
Marshal is investigating the cause.
