This accident occurred on Salisbury Rd. at the John Boyle plant when the white van and the roll-off truck hit head on. Both drivers were pinned in their vehicles and were freed with AMKUS hydraulic equipment by members of the Iredell Co. Rescue Squad. One driver was DOA and the other driver was airlifted by CMC to Charlotte. Iredell Rescue, EMS, Statesville and Wayside Fire, EMS, and CMC helicopter responded to the scene.
