Tornado Damage

03/28/2010 @ 19:00 - Dispatched to 442 Clark Rd - Chestnut Grove Mobile Home Park - ref to possible tornado touched down. First arriving officer advised major damage in the area. Several mobile homes completely destroyed, and many more with some type of damage. The old US Flea Market building (vacant) sustained extreme damage as well. South of the incident had damage to a house on Seven Oaks Dr. Only minor injuries noted. Power lines were also down crossing I-85.

Responding Agencies- Fire - Churchland, Linwood, Tyro, Midway, Healing Springs, many other Depts. responded personnel to scene Rescue - Davidson County Rescue Squad, Rowan County Rescue Squad Davidson County - EMS, Emergency Management, Fire Marshall, Sheriff's Office NC SHP NC DOT
