Jiffy Lube Fire
Statesville, NC

The call came in about 2030 hrs for a working fire at the Jiffy Lube at the intersection of Island Ford Rd and Old Mountain Road.  The building was within sight of the West Iredell Station and was quickly confirmed as a working fire.  Four stations were dispatched to the scene and others put on standby.  The platform truck from Statesville was requested and units were set up around the perimeter of the building.  Damage was confined to the store and to an apartment above the store.  Temperature was about 35.
