REF: Update FF Poole injury
As of noon today they had Derek sitting up in bed, we were able to talk to him and he said to tell everyone that he appreciates the company and prayers. He said that he did not realize until now how much the firefighters cared for each other and was a true family. He has asked that we do not forget him and he wanted us to keep coming to see him. (It really meant a lot to him)
Now, the bad news is he has now lost the use of his arms, we must keep praying this is temporary.
Derek is still in the ICU 5c area and his Mom & Dad stated again, anyone wanting to come see Derek is welcome, he loved the fire departments and they would allow us at anytime to visit.
Again, just keep Derek and his family in your prayers and thoughts.
